Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber Buy Waterfront Miami Beach Home

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber quietly ended their 2020 with a significant real estate purchase: a new waterfront property in an exclusive area of Miami Beach. The public listing for the 3,803-square-foot midcentury modern shows that it recently sold for $9.625 million. Situated on a 0.39-acre lot, the five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom pad boasts more than 100 feet of direct water frontage and unobstructed bay views.

Adding to the architectural appeal of the low-slung house are its slanted wood-slat ceiling, warm ceramic tile floors, and exposed brick walls. The main living spaces feature high ceilings and an entire wall of glass sliders that open out onto a spacious back patio, yard, and pool overlooking the bay, perfect for indoor-outdoor entertaining. (Mirce Curkoski and Albert Justo with The Waterfront Team at One Sotheby’s International Realty held the listing.)

Crawford and Gerber will have plenty of A-list neighbors to invite over for alfresco dinner parties, should they so choose. Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner recently purchased a $23.5 million, eight-bedroom estate just down the road. (Kushner’s brother, Jared, with wife Ivanka Trump, own real estate just a few minutes away in extra luxe Indian Creek Island, otherwise known as the “Billionaire’s Bunker.”) Other celebrity neighbors include Tory Burch cofounder Chris Burch and billionaire Barry Sternlicht.

Crawford and Gerber made headlines in the spring of 2020 after allowing a buyer to back out of a $6.5 million deal on their Malibu home when the person changed their mind due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, TMZ reported that the couple even returned the deposit. At present, in addition to the Malibu home, the pair also retain a lake cottage just outside Toronto and a Beverly Hills mansion they purchased from OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder in 2017 and listed this past summer.
